Hi all, wonder if anyone can help.
    I have Medion/ Cybercom 15" flat monitor
    Nvidia GeForce MX440
    Windows XP Homes SP2

When I start up the display is initially ok. ie, I see black screen with mem test, etc, etc. I aslo get to see windows splash page.
Then my display goes crazy - Lots and lots of lines and flickering.

I know it is not my puter or graphics card as I have an identical machine and have switched monitors.

    Thanks for any ideas?

hi, is your gfx built into your M/B ?
because the next logical step would be to look at the gfx card try another gfx card, if it is itegrated don't worry theres probably an AGP X4 slot on the M/B and your pc shouls auto disable the onboard gfx

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can remove my graphics card. But I am pretty sure it is not this because I have 2 identical computers and monitors, and another monitor works fine.
The monitor with the problem has the same symptoms on both machines.

Any other ideas or does is sound like I need to take my monitor to someone for repair?
