Half Life 2 made me feel sick, particularly playing with the vehicles.

Call of Duty 2 also had a fairly sickening effect on my stomach.

If console is available, see if there is a command called "fov", as changing this in HL2 from 90 to around 70 seemed to make a huge difference and I no longer felt as ill playing.

Prey is the only game to ever make me feel sick, and ive been playing games for 30 years. Some achievement!

When I started playing it, Oblivion was giving me the exact same problem. But for some reason, it suddenly stoppped and never came back since.

Adjusting the field of view can definitely help with this as the possibility to adjust it is more a trick than a real change in perspective, since your screen's always the same size obviously.

    Hey sup Sniper !

Only game that actually made me feel ill was alien v's predator. Can't remember if it were alien or predator but it were one where u could climb all the walls and ceiling. With no horizon i felt dis-orientated and had to turn it off before i was sick

its exactly that were your upside down and walking on walls that makes me very ill as you progress through levels the nausea fades prob coz the most majoraty of this walking on walls stuff is at the beginning.

i think pray started off very well, in the pub it was fantastic but imo it messed itself up when entering the spaceship. the game would of been a lot better with earth tings

CoD2 definately made me feel sick.
Games which have a sort of "zoom" on them make me feel like this. You see your character's arms, and then the ground seems quite close. Not sure how to explain it :)
Definately something to do with perspective for me.

Actually come to think of it now, i think games like UT2K4 make me feel abit nausea or dizzy, as when your trying to kill someone your doging all the time, keeping your eye on the player, makes you abit dizzy :p

Weird..I'm a sucker for motion sickness, but never has a game made me ill. Not even games like Prey, AvP, or UT2004! The only game that I had to shut off due to illness was Knights of the Old Republic, and that was due to some bad food I had eaten that afternoon. :D

Lol, i turned off Metal Gear Solid once, that made me feel ill, its wierd that when playing a game for a long period of time some people start to feel ill :\

The only time i ever used to feel ill is in cars and busses etc...

    Quake2.

Playing that game for an extended period of time on a large-ish monitor makes me want to rediscover lunch every time.

    Low-detail, high-framerate, crazy lighting... *vurp!*

Still though, great game for the time, and the co-op play was awsome. :)

The only game that makes me sick is the original wolfenstine from id, whatnot with its basic ratation and simple 3D graphics. Just thinking about it makes me want to barf.
