    PC turning off suddenly...

I had this exact problem, in fact I uploaded a video on youtube for help on it ( here is the video link : ) as you can see in the video, I spent a lot of money on a new power supply, and that didn't remedy the situation, what I suggest is 2 things: 1) Before buying new hardware, re-flash...

Which is better? A fast Core 2 Duo or a slow i7 processor?

I would go for the i7, yes its a slower clock speed, but I believe they do more processing per "1MHz" so logically, I would imagine the 1.6GHz i7 to be probably over 2.5GHz in "core 2 Duo" terms if you get me. Yes its a newer CPu, expensive too, but they're supposed to be really good and...

Sure you haven't got ghosts? hehe only joking, does it shut itself down as in "windows is now shutting down" and does the usual screen as it shuts down and takes a minute tops maybe, or does it just power off, as if the battery and mains adapter have both been uplugged?

    Review : Deus Ex (PC)

I rate the game 8.4/10. I have completed it many times doing different story lines. However the PC support is crap, the game is crashy, unreliable even with all the latest fixes! PS2 version FTW

Hi, thanks for all that, erm... I am already running vista as we speak, and on a sidenote I also got many of my XP games working with no problems despite my Vista copy being 64 bit. Dual Boot with Vista

I found the best way to do this, if you want the OS's on different hard disks, is to unplug the one with your current OS on, and install the new OS to the other hard disk and it will all be set to "C drive" and all that crap. Then when you plug your other one back in, set your boot options...

GeForce 9600 GT vs GeForce 8800 GTS

If you already have an nVIDIA adapter, just plug it in and update the drivers (download and install) no need to uninstall. If you had say an ATi or was using integrated graphics, uninstall current drivers and download nVIDIA's latest ones and install.
