    Hello All,

I have a BT Voyager USB ADSL Modem installed and it has two lights on it - PWR and LINK. The PWR light is always on. However, the LINK light starts flashing after the desktop has loaded some 30-60 seconds before. This means I have to wait a minute before I can use the internet at all.

Just wondering if there was a way to speed up the link process at all?

    Thanks.

I dont think there is a way to speed up the connection! even so I dnt think it should take too long to connect though, it takes mine under 30 seconds, but I guess you could have alot of other things loading on startup?

do you keep the computer on 24/7? or have many users, if so you could do something so, every time you log off and on, you will still be connected to the internet!

If it has an ethernet connection, try that, but it sounds like that's just the way it is.
