Here is the info on the FX57.. there is a link to article on my site but all text is quoted below so there is no real need to go there Griffeycom Link
Its not worth the money, but I've been thinking its not been about a price war so much. AMD with the FX line have been trying to have the fasrest single threaded CPU, technicological prestige. If I had that kind of money I'd for for an X2. BTW, Intel stopped competing in single threaded, as Anandtech said, AMD won the single threaded performance war a while ago.
True, lol, but I know I'll be able to afford it, but a lot of us don't want to blow that much money in one place, even us nerds.
rigggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttttttt yeah im saving up for a new amp and some nice dimebucker pickups for my electric I want a MARSHALL, but Peaveys are nice too bwahahhahaha
saving up for a new amd processor, what, yours is well ace, oh my god i am buying a 3500+ and thats going to be amazing for me, i might considering stretching to a 3700+ but i wont be upgrading for years after that , are you made out of money, are you a millionare :good:
Yeah the new AMD line kicks Intels ass, they are just taking over, intel better catch up soon or pull something special out of the bag or they will lose BIG TIME, what is better then the FX-57 or an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4800+...
You really do walk into these things don't you Z But thats an Opteron thing right? You can't shove two FX's in those sockets right? if so you'd've heard of it by now, like Quad pumped gaming rig of fury or something.
dual processors have little or no increases in performance gaming though sometimes it can be negative. Dual proc.s - servers. Sorry guys Dual core is a different matter though
Really, that's odd, I just assumed two is better than one? What happens they get confused and bonk heads a bit or something bottlenecking everything else? Now if you had two dual core video cards that would be really sweet.
