ATI has released their new drivers for the x86 arch. The new drivers adds support for the chipsets: ATI FireGL™ V5000 Get the from ATi.
I hope this release is better than their previous offers. I remember trying to get a Radeon 9500 working properly in Linux... *shudder* ...Sold that and got an NVidia card, which have vastly superior Linux drivers. If ATI seriously improves their Linux support, I'll consider buying ATI again. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for ATI!
