audigy crackling??

Hi, Swapped my 5.1 for an audigy but it crackles really bad in alot of games, I've applied the newest drivers, any help pls:)


MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU
XP 2000+
512 2600 DDR
Leadtek winfast gf3 64
Audigy
Asuscom ISDN Card
32x liteon cdrw
12x sony dvd
some new cobwebs and grime
 
Check out this faq, I know a few people who have had problems with Live/Audigy cards using the Via chipsets, and hopefully the suggestions listed here should help resolve your problems.
 
thx, made sure my audigy was in pci 2 then dl'ed a patch and it works fine now cept i can't configure a mic under certain proggies, but who cares :)
