anyone no of a good program to convert avi files to dvd so can use on tv . also i try use nero 7 ultra but when it gets right to the end of encoding it spits disk out and says not enough space yet the disk is 4.8gb and the film will be just under that and my temp folder is a 250gb hdd so im just wasting good disks .

After ages trying different ones I found this one to be the quickest and easiest. There isnt much you can do with the dvd menu using this program (nero is good for that) but you can add backgrounds which was good enough for me!

Try 'DVD Santa'. It is a very easy to use program and gets good results. The free version leaves an annoying logo print on the finished DVD playback, but you can get round this by maximizing your TV screen to "Cinema" size, or whatever largest screen size your TV supports (well, it worked for me!). You might want to burn to a DVD RW first to test - it'll save wasting a blank write once disk.
