I'm trying to set up a second monitor (BenQ) for my computer.

When connected to the second DVI slot Nvidia Control Panel recognises the display but the monitor only displays "No Input Signal".

The BenQ does not display when it is the only monitor connected.

I'm connecting via VGA to DVI adapter then DVI cable to graphics card. Both adapter and cables are brand new and never used so I don't think it could be related to these.

Graphics card seems to work with no issues with my primary monitor I just find it strange that the Nvidia Control Panel recognises the BenQ?

Any ideas?
Thanks

The monitor might currently be looking for an analog signal. If you are using the DVI cable to connect it will give the message you are getting. There should be a button on the monitor to switch between Digital and analog signal.

Hi, Sorry for the delay in response. Thanks for the info.

I can't get into the Display Settings via the Monitor itself to change any settings such as resolution, frequency or between digital and analog.

I've updated Nvidia drivers and the control panel detects both monitors - but does state that the BenQ is "Digital".

I haven't got a VGA cable to connect up at the moment but gonna get one over the next couple of days so I can then get into the menu to plapy around with settings.

Thanks.
