Bizare home network problems, one computer works, the rest don't

Hi I have been having some real troube with my home network

ISP: Optus
Modem: SB5101
Switch (brand new): TP-Link TL-SF1008D

I was using everything normally, the whole network worked as normal, then I rebooted, and all of a sudden all this happened. The modem only connects to one computer (the closest), and doesn't connect to the other 3 even if the close computer's unplugged.

One 25 Metre cable connects to my main pc (vista), the other 10 Metre cable to a windows xp pc. The close computer runs windows xp. If I try to connect any directly to the modem, the close pc works, but the rest don't. I also tried with a laptop (didn't work).

I replaced my router but it still didn't work. I have also tried switching around the cables to different ports on the router, but that doesn't work either.

I also tried using a pci network card on my main pc, but that didn't work either

I don't see what ks making two of the pc's not work, so suddenly.

Are you getting any error messages on the computers that won't connect to the rest of the network?

None at all, here is a screenshot of what my computer detects

presumably, if your using a standard router, then, you are already using PCI NICs, it may help you to completely disconnect everything then sit down with a coffee & a cigarette (if you smoke) and think about how everything should be connected, to work successfully, & you'll suddenly think you thick :swear: and you'll know exactly how to connect everything & how it should be configured

Please run the commands
Code:
ipconfig/all
and
Code:
route show
on each host. For each host, paste the contents of both into a text file, name it after the PC in question, and upload each one here. We'll be glad to look them over and help identify any network problems.

I have windows live onecare installed on my pc and avg on the rest, but I don't think they're doing anything.

ipconfig/all
and

route show
on each host. For each host, paste the contents of both into a text file, name it after the PC in question, and upload each one here. We'll be glad to look them over and help identify any network problems.

sorry, can you explain how to run those commands?

well ok
------------(Antena cable)--Modem---(Ethernet)---
/-------------------------------------------------/
Switch----------Ethernet--------------- Close pc (xp)
l--------Ethernet cable (built in wall)----- My pc (vista)
l-- -----Ethernet cable (built in wall)----- Other pc (xp)

But still, i even tried connecting my laptop (vista) to the same ethernet cable as the closest one, but that didn't work.

Ok, it seemed that the devices all had to be powered up in a cetain order, so it's working now. Thanyou all
