    Hi All

Some of you might recall me whinging on about hardware issues in Windows 2000 :D . Just to recap, I can't get my Geforce2 MX, my USB2.0 Card or my on-board sound card to work.

I have now discovered what the problem is, except I can't do anything about it  .
For some reason unknown to me, Windows 2K has assigned 5 or 6 hardware devices to the same IRQ channel (IRQ11) . I went into the device manager to try and edit the resources manually, except the tick box you usually uncheck to do so, is completely grayed out. This means there is no way for me to manually assign anything.
I am dual-booting this computer with NT/XP also. I cannot manually change the resources in these operating systems either (although I am not experiencing hardware issues like i am in Windows 2K).

I've had a quick look in the CMOS, and I can't see anything obvious i've missed out on). My computer uses a standard Award BIOS 4.x

    Any clues?
