I go to put linux on my laptop. I put my cd in the drive and it boots from disc and tell me do i want graphical or text (I have tried both) Then it comes up loading kernal. The starting anaconder - Cobinds installer then says installer has shut down due to abnormal exit. Does this evry time WTF shud i do ?
have you got the problem sorted or just leaving it? maybe the graphics card in your laptop work in linux?
I know you've gone on to another distro, but I thought I'd point out for posterity that the problem was probably that your burned CD image was corrupted.
