Computer Alarm constantly going off?

I have this program called Easy Tune that came with my Gigabyte mobo. It monitors system temperatures and fan rpms. If I enabled the alarm, it is constantly going off. The alarm will go off if the temp goes over 60 degrees or if the fans go below a certain RPM. Here is the default setting.

CPU Fan = 3000 rpms
System Fan = 3000 rpms
PSU Fan = 1000 rpms

Do these numbers seem low?
Any other reason why this alarm would keep going off?

What kind of chipset does your motherboard have? I know some KT-800s are implemented with a bad thermal diode and that could cause your problem. As a short-term fix, simply turn off the alarm feature altogether.
 
My chipset is "NVIDIA nForce4 4X MCPs"

My Mobo

I did turn it off, but I am worried that I am going to fry something. I hope it is just a bug like you said.

Well, as long as your system is not actually overheating in real life, you don't really have a problem, do you? :) there's always the 'ol finger test. Just touch the heatsync near the base with a relatively uncalloused finger. If you can't touch the 'sync for 10 seconds without pain, it's too hot. This is pretty unlikely though, unless your chassis has horrible cooling. Athlon 64's run remarkably cool, especially considering their excellent performance.
