I need your urgent hellp to figure out how i can correct these computer errors. I will be informal as much as i can to explain my situation. To start: I have a toshiba satellite 1400-s151 laptop which is 2-3 years old. It never gave me a problem like this...UNTIL NOW. what it says on the blue screen is:

    Kernel_data_inpage_error

Then it says if it is the first time the this happens restart your computer

It also says that it could be due to bad installation of hardware and/or software. Ways to fix his is to disable Bios memory options such as caching or shadowing.
    oxoooooo7a (0xc0201850, 0xc000000e, 0c042f3860, 0x80614cbb)
The after that it says Dumping Physical Memory.
and underneath that is says something like(didn't quite catch it sorry:(: atapi-sys-address F9788CA8 base at f9779000 datestamp....(didn't get the last part of the last line sorry:(

It doesn't show up this blue screen the second i turn it on. FIRST, it gave me this error screen after 5 hours, then it will restart and it will recover (after dumping physcial memory) and windows error report screen will show up and will say:
windows has recovered from serious error (on error report it will say: error signature: BCCode: 7a, BCP1:Co20B1850, BCP2: C000000E, BCP3:80614CBB, BCP4: 0D7A6860
    OS ver:5_1_2600
    SP:-2-0 Product:256-1
on error report contents from tech info click here:
-the following 2 files will be included in error report:
    1. drive c:\Docume~1/Nabeel(user name)\LOCALS~\Temp\wer484.dir00/Mini06305-01.dmp
    2. drive c:\Docume~1/Nabeel(user name)\LOCALS~\Temp\wer484.dir00/sysdata.xml

That was just the first time. After a couple of days it got worse by doing a couple of times more and showed me another error which is (not as often as the first):

    Kernel_Stack_Input_error
same thing as the first error except it says now:
    0X00000077 (0XC000000E, 0XC000000E, 0X0000000, 0X099FD000)

After these, it will show some of kerneldatainpageerror and one more kernelstackinput error. During that time (after 3 kerneldata and 1 kernalstack error), my laptop also starts to make clicking noise never heard before (as if it's writing/reading continuously even if I'm not accessing it) and just as it is doing that after a couple of time my computer will lags and freeze couple of second. After that, my computer just freezes (when the green light is constantly on for more then 10 seconds.) and gives one of the preceeding messages (mostly kerneldatainpageerror).

Therefore, I am afraid it will start to get worse and worse until it will delete every-single-valuable-things from my hard drive! However i am sure one of you kind beings can help me out before it start to do the-most-terrible-thing: delete my entire fuc*** hard drive. (can these two error possible of doing that?)

Before you suggest something know this:
I virus scanned but it found nothing. i also ran regcleaner, tweakregistercleaner but it didn't help either (although it found some stuff often left behind after uninstalling programs), and other spyware programs (ad-aware, spy doctor, search and destroy etc) and got rambooster but none of them seem to help. Therefore, that doesn't seem to be the problem at all. However..

I pinpoint the problem why did it all happened and I came down with 3 things (its only these anyway:)):
    1. my first and main suspicion the whole thing started is when my the free download manger encountered a damn BUG. I uninstalled the program but it didn't help (also erased its registry history with regcleaner and tweakregcleaner)
    2. I acidently set my externel hard drive one volume (have 3 volume in the external HD) as active, but i dont think that is the problem because i had it active for about a month and during that time it never gave me an error or any of that kind... (again until the download manger encountered a bug but not the problem with the hd just the error)
    3. I downloaded 300 files (about 20 mb each) in less then 8 days (i was on trial so during that time i want to downloaded as much as i can so i won't get fully billed :)) and it was the first time in those 8 days i used my laptop 16 hours a day. However, again i also don't think thats the problem because i scanned all the files with the virus many times and spyware (the site also has a strict policy on spyware so they couldn't and din't have any, for that i am sure:))

Therefore, I really think its either the bug or the external hard one volume set on active acidently. Therefore, MY REQUEST to my dear member is: Can you please tell me how to fix the bug by what program that does it and how to undo the external hard drive volume as unactive because i don't use it all the time (just to backup files) and just turn it off when i am done. Also, any addition information will definitely help from any of you dear members. so please reply as soon as and as much as you can. I will really really appreciate it!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! (I will do the same to help you when ever i get the chance.) peace take care!

With a problem of this severity I would suspect hardware trouble, possibly the RAM or hard-drive. I've no idea what the error messages mean but this would be the sequence I would try:

    1. Random, inexplicable crashes can often be traced down to an overheated CPU. Check the temperature in the BIOS after it's been on for a while. The optimum tempature is somewhat debatable but I would get suspicious of anything above 50C. Also check your CPU fan to make sure it still turns well and is not getting clogged with dust or fluff.

    2. Check that all of your hardware is plugged in properly and dust-free. It may be something as simple as a loose card or cable that is confusing the OS or a foreign particle causing a short on the motherboard.

    3. Check your RAM with Memtest and see if that finds anything.

    4. Run a full scan of your hard-drive with Scandisk or similiar program. It could be that your hard-drive is on the way out.

    5. If still nothing then try defragging the hard-drive. Your problem looks more serious than that but it's worth a shot.

Do all those points and hopefully you'll find out what the problem is. If it doesn't solve the problem then let me know what you tried and what if anything came up and we'll take it from there.

    Good luck.

To ThePenguinCometh: thanks for the advice i will try to do that when i turn the laptop on but i want as much as info as possible before i do anything therefore i have some other things i forgot to mention which is:
that i got a black screen when i was having these problems which is:
PXE-E61: media test failure, check cable (i think i got this because i acidently made an external hard drive one volume as active, however it never gave me this screen when i first did that and that was a month ago).
Also, one more thing i just remembered now which is i scanned-only with a registry cleaner called repair registry pro and it found a lot of problems (more then 300 mostly file/path reference). therefore, should i buy it to fix it (is it important to do that? is this be the cause of the kernel message errors i am having?) or i should buy another registry cleaner that is better then this one (which one do u think i should get or should i get the one that finds the most problem in my computer?)

I wouldn't worry about the registry for the moment, it's a software problem and until you're confident that your hardware isn't about to give up on you then you don't need to get into it right now. Just run the battery of hardware tests I mentioned above and that should get you somewhere. To be honest you may end up wiping the hard-drive anyway and starting from scratch but I wouldn't get into that right now until I was sure that your machine was fine.

okay thanks again. well i have some bad news now: now it just shows the black screen:
PXE-E61: media test failure, check cable (i think i got this because i acidently made an external hard drive one volume as active, however it never gave me this screen when i first did that and that was a month ago and i have it unplugged).

Also, it makes noticable loud click noises when it boots up! do you know what this all means please (the black screen and the clicking noise)

well it does't seem to help at all because its not all related to me. right now, i just don't care about the errors (the black and the blue screen because i have found many ways to fix those). what i really really care about is why is it making loud noise like clicking sound when it shouldn't have because it never done that before. so can you tell me please only why (i know what to do with other problems) why is it making a little loud noticable sound of click when it boots up and shows up the black screen?

you are right my hd is failing (i called toshiba center and they said the same thing and told me to go to a provider to fix my hard drive) however, before i go to fix my hard drive or whatever, is their any way i can save files from the hd to some where else if it doesnt go beyond the black screen even in safe mode and can i use the same external hd (one volume that i set up as active) which is now corrupted and unreadable (just one volume the other is fine) or i should get a new external hd and back up their

You should try booting the computer with a good hard-drive and save the files from the dying one onto the good one. Even then you may have trouble accessing the files on the dying one. You'll might find that you'll need some fairly low-level tools to be able to read the hard-drive at all. In this sort of situation I resort to using Linux programs to try and recover the data as I find them more robust and better able to cope with dying hard-drives. If your not familiar with it then I'm not entirely sure what to suggest as the only Windows/DOS tools I know of that you could use are fairly expensive. Just try using the hard-drive as a slave and see if Windows can access it still, you might be lucky.

Ah, your using a laptop of course. Should have remembered this, sorry. What you need to do is boot from device other than your dead hard-drive, preferably something with plenty of diagnostic tools that you can use to take stock of the damage. Your best bet is probably to boot from a CD. I always use a bootable Linux CD for this as it's generally better able to cope with dodgy hardware than a Windows CD but there are specialised diagnostic CD's available that you could use if you don't know Linux. Unfortunately I've never used any of these so I don't know what to recommend for this and you'll probably have to pay a signifigant amount of money for them. One thing you can try is to boot into DOS using a Win CD or floppy and try to run the DOS version of scandisk from there. If that doesn't fix it, and it probably won't, then a Google search will give you quite a few hard-drive recovery options. Better yet, learn how to use Linux and gpart, badblocks, fdisk, fsck, etc.

actually i want to back up files from both the hd in the laptop and the corrupted volume from the external hd. therefore iwill do what u said for the laptop however for the external hd, can you tell me what are the options please to recover data from the corrupted volume. (u mentioned set it as slave but how do u exactly do that? can you please explain a little bit more) thanks a lot!!!:)

its either you spend alot of dedicated time or sent it to a dedicated firm, but i recommend the time the firms charge like 400$ or more

I must admit I'm getting slightly confused as to what the problem is. You say that the external hard drive has a corrupted volume but how do you know this if the internal one is already dead? Are you trying to boot from the external drive? If so then all that may be wrong is that the external one has become unbootable. Can you boot into the computer from a Windows installation CD? If so then run scandisk or a similiar program and see what that finds. Hopefully that will solve the problem or at least patch it up so that you can get into the drive and rescue your data.

If the drive really is unreadable then you're probably looking at getting dedicated data recovery software. I was in a similiar situation some weeks ago and did quite some research into data recovery tools but I was never able to find any suitable free software or downloadable trial versions of proprietary software. The only open source tools I found were still under development and the proprietary tools I looked at were quite expensive. In my case I was lucky enough to find a freeware tool for Linux which worked well so maybe you could try Windows software from the same company. Otherwise a Google search will keep you busy for a few hours. If you do find any good tools please let me know as I would be interested in them as well.

i check the external hd bad volume or another good laptop, therefore without the external hd plugged in the bad laptop it still makes clicking noise and shows (pxe-e61) message over and over again. so its defenitely went bad.
therefore i will do what u suggest and try everything. but i want to know that tool u told me (linux) will it work with window xp and should i use the linux tool for both hd (the bad laptop hd and the external hd bad volume) or it just works with one

No, the program I mentioned only work with Linux filesystems. The same company also sells a version of the program that works with Windows filesystems but that is not freeware. However I did find that their Linux program was good and enabled me to recover data from a Linux partition after Windows had wiped the partition table so I'm assuming that the Windows version would be equally as good. Unless any else at this forum has any ideas then I'm afraid that you'll probably have to pay either for data-recovery software or a professional and even then there's no gaurantee that you'll get the data back or be able to recover the drive, depending on how badly damaged the drive is.

how bad do u think the damage is looking at my problem (computer making clicking noise, pxe-e61 media failure check cable showing over over again) i called seagate for the external hd and they told me to use easy recovery to get the data do u think that work?

Hard to say but I'm not optimistic about your chances. What is "easy data recovery"? Are they referring to a software program or a recovery service?
