Copying out files from Knoppix LiveCD?

I am using Knoppix LiveCD to recover some files from a drive which won't show up in Windows. It's NTFS, and I can read the contents of said faulty drive.

However when I try to copy out the stuff to other FAT32 or NTFS drives I am unable to, with obvious signs of being unable to write to these drives. Can anyone tell me how I can copy stuff out from the LiveCD OS please?
