I am thinking about purchasing this:

Since this is wireless, and has pretty decent reviews..and a decent price, it seems best for my condition. This product claims to be able to connect to any tv in the house..for wireless transmission of all formats. I want to use its wireless function. For this to happen, does it need to be connected to the TV itself? if so, what do i need to get for my computer that will store the media files? a 802.11g pci card? im thinking so, i havent delt with wireless yet...plz suggest the equipment to get this thing to work. thx

I think you would need some kind of 802.11g PCI card connected to the PC and then the DSM-320 Wireless Media Player connected to the TV.

sorry I've not worked with any wireless equipment.

Yeah you'll either need a wireless router or a card on the pc you want to stream from.

Apart from that you should be ready to go.
