Error Msg Help....

Hi all, I need help:

I downloaded this file (Office2003SP1-kb842532-fullfile-enu.exe), when I install it and the error message said (error creating process <C:\Documents and Setting\sou\Local Setting\Temp\IXPOOO.TMP\ohotfix.exe> Raeson: indows\system32\advpack.dll). and it doe not update office, can some help me what is advpack.dll? thak you.

advpack.dll basically helps Windows Install things :)

When you install new Drivers, updates or new programs advpack.dll helps Windows by reading and verifying .INF files (which are key files in installing things).

To me this sounds as if advpack.dll is corrupt or broken.

Post back what Operating System you are running and what version:
Windows 2000
Windows 2000 Pro
Windows 2000 Pro Sp1 or Sp2 or Sp3 or Sp4
Windows XP Home
Windows XP Home SP1
Windows XP Home SP2
Windows XP Pro SP1
Windows XP Pro Sp2 e.t.c ..

and we'll find u a replacement file.

I using Windows XP Pro Sp2. Can you find me a replacement file and direction how to replace it. Thank you.
 
Hi Sniper,

I download it, can you give me direction how to place the file in the system32 folder. When try copy the file to that folder message come up and said "can not copy advpack: It is being used by another person or program."
