A Tactical Waffle

Geek Trainee
Hi! I was just looking for some advice/comments on a new computer I'm building. This is my first time, and just want to make sure I'm not doing anything stupid. Here are the parts I have picked out:

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-Z68M-D2H LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s Mirco ATX Intel Motherboard

Graphics Card:
EVGA 02G-P3-1559-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 192-bit GDDr5 PCI Express 2.0 x16

Case:
Antex Three Hundered Black Steel ATX Mid Tower

Processor:
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core

RAM:
Corsair XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Hard Drive:
Western Digital Caviar Green WD7500AARS 750GB

Monitor:
SAMSUNG S22A350H ToC Rose Black

I have a mouse, speakers and a keyboard. Any suggestions?

I really appreciate any help I can get on this.

kk couple of questions... what will you be doing with this rig? Gaming, video, picture, media editing? 3-D rendering? Also do you plan on overclocking your CPU and/or GPU? This way I can help you out better and get a feel for what you need, because right now those parts seem kind of random.
