Getting the Linksys wrk54g to work with modems

i want my linksys wrk54g router to work with my modem via eithernet cable

i just haven't a clue how to do it any suggestions are cool

Getting it to work with the modem doesn't take anything at all. You just plug it in and its good to go. The only thing u need to worry about is setting up the router to run your network the way you want. And to do that you need to access the router's control panel (through a browser) as it will tell u how to in the manual, and then play around with the settings which the manual should also tell u about.
