Hi everyone. I'm not sure if I should be posting this here, since this is more software than hardware, so if you can recommend a better forum please do. I learned that using wireless is much easier than Bluetooth to make a LAN connection to play LAN games. I managed to make an ad hoc wireless connection with my friend (he's the host), but the game we wanted to play didn't worked. Testing the basics, he can ping me but I can't ping him. I have a HP Mini 110-3110BR netbook with a Broadcom BCM4313 network adapter running Windows XP. I'll have to ask my friend for his model (HP Inspiron I guess) but it runs Windows 7. The adapter can connect to normal wireless networks and access the internet.
