I am helping one of my friends recover some data from a drive. He says it got corrupted somehow, and it doesn't display any signs of physical failure. I am told the Master Boot Record is damaged. Seeing as this drive is plugged in as a slave (or secondary, since this is SATA not IDE) and I don't want to mess up my own drives, how would I go about fixing this drive's MBR? Regards, Nicholas
The Best way is to piggy back his drive on your computer, you use your computer as the host and for booting..... then you will be able to remove all important files/programs/music.... You will also be able to fix/ repair his hard drive.. try hard drive Regenerator ...
