You should have got Vista home premium instead of ultimate because there is hardly any difference apart from a few minor details. Home premium OEM version is like £60-£70 which is what i got and there has been no problems with it. Ultimate is seriously not worth it return it if you can and get home premium OEM.
Agreed. I've never had to help so many people migrate to Debian than after Vista came out. Even my dad, who was die-hard Windows, decided to throw in the towel. He read a 400-page Linux book and had me throw Debian "Lenny" on his laptop for him. Runs XP in VirtualBox for those MS-only apps he's still stuck with.I have to use Vista at work in my IT support role and it's awful! Microsoft have found more ways to slow you down in your administration. By trying to make Vista more easy, they've infact made it harder and more cumbersome!
