IE6 Renders vB3 RC2 a little... weird.

Is it just my horrible Dell workstation at work, or does anyone else see a little weirdness in the way IE6 renders this website? On mine, the username/avatar portion of posts look very stacked; that is, they are alligned too vertically. On my Linux machines, there is no problem at all (due to the Mozilla-based browsers). So is this a known issue, or is my crappy workstation possesed as well as underpowered? :smileup:

Yes, I will post a screenshot, good idea snipe! It's hard to believe it would look better on one machine with a current version of IE6 than another, isn't it? It is a Dell, though... :) </me ducks Dell lawsuits left & right>

And in the process, I'll see the image before anyone else muwahahahahahaha (diabolic laugh)

thats strange, it looks fine on my machine running IE6, have you tried to set default settings in IE6? maybe something is haveing an affect on the way the page is displayed!?

It was all stock and default to begin with, but yeah, I did give that a stab... no love. :( I'm convinced it's just pure evil at its very [CPU] core.

:chk: Well, Presarios certainly do suck a big one, but I'd prefer a Compaq Deskpro on my desk than an Optiplex any day! Optiplex is supposed to be Dell's business line. Unfortunatly, the only difference between home and business Dells is the price and the color of the chassis! :(
 
Update:

The pages stopped rendering weird, at least in the way it was rendering (see above). Here's the sweet performance I'm getting now...

I think the RAM may be twitchy; after all, the i810 VPU uses shared system RAM as VRAM, so that would explain the anomalies in rendering, and the instability...

...or it could just be evil, as I asserted earlier! :devil:
