ISDN connections

Does anybody have any experience with ISDN? I just really want to know the real basics as the book I'm reading that brushes on the subject is a little vague, for example it says

The physical connections for ISDN bear some similarity to analog modems. An ISDN wall socket usually looks something like a standard RJ-45 network jack.

So do ISDN setups require a special wall socket or do they use an RJ-11 like analog modems?

Before you guide me to google I've already been looking but the ISDN stuff I'm finding doesn't answear my question. Can anybody here?

personally, i look at Wiki (Wikipedia) here's the Wiki's ISDN page

BTW: if ever you get stuck on almost anything try searching Wiki, however, with some things it's easier to just ask a question
