Hi, I have a IBM thinkpad Lenovo X60 that I have recently aquired. The only problem is that it became a bit moist from some water. I am pretty sure it was off when It was in contact with the moisture. After taking EVERYTHING apart and letting it dry for several days, I put it back together and fired it up with the AC adapter. The post screen came on and then it started making constant beeps and after a while, It went into the bios but I was unable to move to any menus. Does anyone Know what the beep codes are and If there might be a simple fix for it? Its not that big of an issue because I got it for free . In my opinion it is probably dead due to the previous water exposure but hey, its worth a try. know for sure the hard drive is fine because It didnt get wet and spins up.
