Monitors!

Which is an all around better monitor:

ASUS VW246H

or

Acer H243Hbmid
Newegg.com - Acer H243Hbmid 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 40000:1 Max (ACM) Built-in Speakers

I've narrowed it down to 2 based on that they have HDMI, a 2ms response time, and are 24". The contrast ratio is the tricky part :/

Looking at both of the specs, they're practically the same. I have the ASUS one and it has never given me any problems.

Personally, i would prefer ASUS over ACER just because i've had good experiences with their products. Ultimately though, i don't think it would matter which one you get.

Personally I like samsung monitors.
You can have a look at this Samsung P2450H 24-Inch.
The monitor looks and performs great.

The samsung monitor seems about the same as the other two aside from the fact that it's 40 dollars more. I kinda want plain black also. But thanks :D

I would go for the Acer one. It has a better contrast ratio of 400000:1. It will give out better resolution than the ASUS.
