I've been away from gaming hardware for a while (I have a 460 GTX). Wanted to ask what nVidia card I should buy to get at least a good experience on a 24" LCD. Here's my system specs:

    Win 7 x64
AMD Athlon II 440 (3 core unlocked to 4) 3.0 gHz
    4 GB DDR3
    MSI 770-C45 mobo
    80 GB WD Raptor

I prefer nVidia because i like using PhysX but open to Radeon suggestions

Perhaps GTX 660. I also recommend processor overclocking.

I have it OCed to 3.4 gHz. I'll check out the 660 cards. Will a 660 give smoother performance than dual 460 GTX SLI ?

If you get cheap GTX 460, that's something to think about. Performance should be close to GTX 660, however there are often problems with SLI setups.
