New monitor - perhaps?

Big Geek
Thinking of buying a new monitor. I'm a bit reluctant to change though, as my old CRT is 11 years old and still going strong! I guess LCD is the way to go now though.

Can anyone recommend a decent one? My budget will be £70-80.

Thanks,

David.

i can suggest lg 17" models

for 19" if you want support and a qualified warranty you can look for philips' old models but their conrast is lower than the 17" lg's

if your monitor is about 11 years, it must be 14" or 15" one, so 17" will be seemed to you as a 19" crt

you're welcome

by the way if you don't care warranty you can buy some specific taiwan or china made lcd's too

mirai, bellinea, benq etc. like brands are not well known but they are building screen solutions for dell, ibm etc.

but not well wide support i say again anyway a lot of them comes with no death pixel guarantee :D
