No POST

Hiya. I hope someone can point me in the right general direction. Recently started putting together another desktop. Well, it doesn't post :( Wondering if anyone has experience with MSI boards.

Specs:
MSI KT3 Ultra2-C
AMD Athlon 2200 w/ Thermaltake volcano 7
Corsair 512 DDR PC2700
GF4 4400

What happens is, it will come on for 2 seconds, then shuts itself off. I hooked in the D-Bracket, and the LEDs flash to memory check, then system turns off. It does this with and without the RAM in it. I unfortunately don't have a second DDR stick to swap in, but according to the board documentation, if there was a memory problem, it would hang and display that pattern. Will swap the proc, but I don't think that'll do it. Checked, double-checked, re-checked jumpers. Also tried jumpering to clear the cmos, no go. Any other ideas? Any would be very helpful.

Hmm...
I'd try to exchange that stick of RAM if at all possible if you suspect it---however, that doesn't seem like a RAM issue.
Are you powering the board on by flipping a switch on the power supply? I've seen Asus boards power on if you did that--but not do a POST. If you pressed the power button on the case, the system booted up like normal.

I'm not sure what your power supply is, but you'll want to have something that's at least 300W minimum (200W combined power of the 3.3V and 5V rails). That could also be giving you problems.
 
As far as the power supply goes, it came with the case, Enermax 300W. And I turn it on using the case button.

I'll give the pulling it out of the case and trying a go in a few and let you know.
