no power

Listen, your pc has a CPU right? With a heatsink or cooler on it right? Remove that cooler, put thermal paste on your CPU, and then put the cooler back. Now try to start the PC.

Yes it was brought from novatech and displayed as a novatech atx 400w allthough it does have the name win power on the side.

although i've never heard of winpower PSU's, it does sound like it could be a generic (crap) PSU, check out Big B's PSU Sticky, the Wattage of a PSU doesnt mean much, as some good brand 300W (like the Antec TP2 550W can privide more power than a generic 450W, there a list of good PSU brands in the sticky, buying the PSU is NOT the place scimp and save money, get the best you can afford[ot]get another decent make PSU[/ot]

Your PSU is generic(crap)........because good PSU's are expensive...
