Seems like awhile back there was a thread popping up every week from somebody who had the novel idea of buying the thousands of dollars it would take of (drumroll) MERCURY!!! and pumping through a water cooling loop, despite the obvious danger of DEATH, and in blatant disregard to the technical aspects of it just not working out, all in the name of losing those two or three degrees on their chips. These threads usually end up 100% shot down. It does make me wonder, though.... Other than water, is there any chemical one could run through a custom water loop that would be:

A: Cheap (Less than 100 dollars to fill the system)
B: Safe (Lets not die doing this)
C: Effective ( Higher conductive properties than water)

.... And let the wars commence....... [IMG]

What about radiator fluid that they use in automobiles? The car would fry without it :O

"Radiator Fluid" is water, it's just usually mixed with antifreeze.
