Tuxmachines have given openSUSE 10.2 Alpha 4 the once over. There are a few bugs as you'd expect from an alpha, but the general signs are good.
What makes me happy is KDE has received a bit of love in the form of a makeover :) It's got the new kicker KDE menu and a new 'start' button in the form of the SUSE logo. GNOME features the new menu from SLED 10.
All things looking good then.
I am definately looking forward to this release. Hopefully it will help me forget about the miseries associated with it's predecessor, 10.1
