    Hi,
I bought a newer pc recently. I had two Ultra pci cards, a firewire and usb 2.0, which worked perfectly in my old pc but when in the new one, the firewire card says there's not enough resource to install it. For the usb 2.0 card as soon as I put anything in a usb 2 port of it freezes the whole pc. Secondly I used two companies' utility to scan the pc for the correct ram and both gave the same answer, so I bought 512mb but it is simply is not recognised and the pc will not boot up with it in - I sent it back and the replacement was the same. The newer pc is an Asus P4b, 1.7 GHz celeron. Both the old and new pcs are on Windows XP.

The pci cards are connected to the board via a flexible riser.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
