I typed in my name and it listed my name, age, and relatives. I never, ever signed up for this or had any connection to any public listings.

How do they get my information and relatives info?

I'm not exactly sure how they do it, but there's tons of information that you can access on anyone...on or off the Internet...the internet just makes it easier.

For instance if you had a large extensive database of birth records you could find out who your parents were, who their parents were, who their parents were, etc...as far as I know birth records are public unless they've been sealed, as in the case of some adoptions.

Yes, i have FB profile and it was public at one point but i made it private now.

That's scary news.

So companies like peoplefinder.com simply search for random people, or request personal information from other companies?
I mean, i never added my parents name on any website or form and it kills me as to how they got that information.
