Gateway cannot answer this question. :swear: Does anyone know if you can remove The DVD Drives on a Gateway 835GM Computer , Remove the rounded bezels and put them on a different drive . Then put the new drive back in the computer.?
Most retail PCs allow you to open it up and take the drive out. The bezel is usually just a plastic cover with only the tray of the real drive showing. Behind the bezel is the front of the actual drive.
Thank You, I suspected as much. Can you imagine a company as big as Gateway not being able to answer that. One Tech typed bck Please wenter Model number after I had originally typed "Can I remove the Bezels from the DVD Drives on My Gateway Model 835 Gm Computer" THAT blows my mind!!
