Ah, should have looked into this thread earlier! Great work man, I now realize what is what so a few temporary oddities don't bother me. Keep up the top notch work man.

Pelvis: My helpfuls periodically drop about 5 at a time, I don't remember that many undeserving points but I'm sure if they were deleted it was for good reason. I'd have about 160 something if none were lost.
 
Yes, there is a technical reason for why a lot of the helpful points dissapeared earlier. But if you are missing one or two that you think you should have, I have been removing the "Helpful" tags from posts that aren't really very helpful. It seems some folks hand out helpful points to anyone who replies, which isn't incredibly condusive to the whole system. Anyway, if you're missing merely a handful, myself or another moderator may have taken corrective action on certain posts. (And don't think I'm descriminating, I remove the helpful flag from my own posts all the time.)

AT- yeah noticed you are missing alot too, you 121 like i did!
So did you delete them or someone else?
As EX said, it really doesn't bother me, just wondering how they got deleted!
Anyway, hope the site is up and running smoothly soon :)

Yeah, I didn't delete that many, only about a dozen total, over quite a while and across several users. It may be a database issue, and Sniper's the expert there. I know the server itself a lot better than I know MySQL.
 
A note for when you get back and carry on fixing bugs, I can't edit my Computer Specs, don't know if anyone else is having this problem...

I cleared my cache so the quick edit works and i forgot to tick it again!
 
Hey I really like the new PM feature that lets you read most of the message before clicking on it, great feature!
 
thank you feature will be disabled for a while, since its not working correctly
 
the insert hyperlink feature isnt working properly, it only asks for the URL and you then have to delete part of it to put in th text to be displayed for the link.
 
I just tested it, when you enter the link it should auto highlight parts of the link, which you can change to text.

I hope you get what I mean.

I'm getting a similar problem...go to the site, login as normal, and then the "login" box still displays the form to login. If I click any link, the login area updates itself and displays "Welcome, Waffle.".

It's as if the page isn't refreshing properly after the login is sent?
May just be me but I've tried clearing cache and cookies, still no joy.

Not a major problem by any means.
 
Yes, it happened to me again 2 days ago, in FF and IE!
In addition, when i quick edit a post and save what i edited, it just takes me to the HF homepage and doesn't actually edit my post!
The only way to get around this is to go advanced edit!

Plus, I wouldn't mind seing the 'Today's Posts' re-integrated ;)
 
I'll look to add that link this week, also could you guys try adding HWF to your trusted sites? I've not had any problems at my end. Is there anyone else?
 
Yep, HF is one of my trusted sites already and has full admissions to cookies aswell! But i think this time this is my XP install, as absolutely nothing animates, including animated GIF's i have on my computer!
