Scientology: The Hollywood Religion
Until i see Scientologists start cutting off peoples heads in snuff videos and chanting their god i'll think they are pretty harmless.
Scientology does not decapitate, they "accident" and "suicide" people in unusual ways, such as
"drowning" in a bathtub full of boiling hot water (with one's head above the surface of the bathwater, no less). Make no mistake, I believe in freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. My biggest issue with Scientology is
that they do not. They claim to, but what they actually do is the opposite. They use fear and intimidation to keep their followers in line, all the while siphoning off their money (by the tens of thousands) for sessions and materials that don't work. If you try and get a refund, you might have an "accident" like many others before you. And unlike every other religion, they operate more like a business, keeping their teachings and beliefs locked up literally under terms of "trade secrets". I don't know of any other religion on the planet that operates in such a manner, do you?
In Oct of 1967, L. Ron Hubbard wrote:
..."SP order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed." What is an "SP" or
Suppressive Person you might be asking yourself? Well, anybody who even questions the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard is an SP. That means I am a suppressive person too, doesn't it? Scientologists are brainwashed to believe that SP's are all actually criminals, who are merely hiding their crimes. For some reason, this precipitates as being hostile towards Scientology. In reality I am no criminal, but nevertheless the belief that I must be one outright prevents true believers in Scientology from even sitting down in a civilized manner to discuss their beliefs with a critic such as me.
While I am tolerant of one's ability to blame frozen, brainwashed, alien ghosts for everything from migraines to genocide (I'm not kidding about that - they call these alien ghosts "thetans"), I do not believe in
forced labor, nor do I believe in the systematic and aggressive
harrassment of their critics. Until Scientology stops these practices, I will openly oppose them. I'd much rather they be civil, rational people I could just sit down with over a cup of coffee and discuss their beliefs openly, but unfortunately that is not the case. Google the phrase "fair game Scientology" and you'll see that they're more than just another harmless UFO cult.
It seems the world focuses on the small stuff to wage moral wars against and always leaves the big stuff out
Scientology is a dangerous cult who coerces followers and critics alike into doing their bidding.
Tory Christman is a former Scientologist of
30 years, who literally escaped out of Scientology with an armed police escort. If you want to learn more about Scientology from an inside source, she is a good place to start. She talks about fair play, about core beliefs, scandals, false flag operations and more. She also thinks the teachings are alright in and of themselves; that is, if scientologists wouldn't have to lie, cheat and harm people all the time. But nobody's perfect. :) She is of course an SP though, having "blown" scientology (
blown means leaving in an unauthorized fashion -- you have to ask for permission to leave).
