i dont think i did anything but i was playing a movie and then when i got done i restarted my cmputer when windows was done loading the screen res was set at the defualt 650x600 with the color at 16 bit when i try to change it via start>settings>controlpanle>display and i move teh slider up to what i want it says to restart if i say yes it dose then when it reboots nothing changed if i pick no nothing happenes then when i manulay reboot nothing happens either also when i open any window my whole desktop changes black unless i click on a button the problem from what i can tell is that there is not setting other than th defualt becuase i found a menu that shows a list of res and there was no chioces then i tried a game config and the game has no color list or res
Sounds like a graphics card driver problem. Try re-installing drivers, they may have come on a disc or you might have to download them.
yea sorry i wasnt sure can it was hard to check red becuase if i ope na new window the 1st gos black and i tried reinstalling drives from a cd and no go im going to play around with some things i allso tried regmechanic
I FIXED IT yea i so happy now i couldnt play any games for like a whole day im so happy now happyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappy thats what i am how i fixed was restart the computer and b4 windows finished loading hold the power button in so the page that ask if u want to start in normal boot log and stuff like that well iwas watching tv and the timer whent out on command line only so i was like ok no pro just type exit and it would exit but it didnt then i was like ummm i think im going ot read what it says to do and it said to do scanreg so i was like ok not like i can hurt it anymore and that resored a backup of my reg and that was what was wrong ITS FIXED I CAN PLAY MY GAMES NOW AND DO OTHER THING happy happy happy happy joy joy joy this made my day o and i just had a horriable tasting coffee/energy drink mixer with some like 1 1/2 cups a suger its nasty but it works
