Ok, through some miracle I figured out what was wrong by myself and was able to correct it.

One more question: How do I make my desktop look cool like all of yours?

No problem, glad to help out. :) If you're using KDE, it's a pretty simple endevour. We've got our new moderator Fred working on a new walkthrough, "KDE LookNFeel", but it's a work in progress. In the meantime, you can tweak your KDE desktop easily through the KDE Control panel. In Mandriva: Star Menu -> System -> Configuration -> Configure Your Desktop -> LookNFeel ...that should get you pretty much all of what you want. Everything's pretty self-explanitory, but we'll have some practical examples in that walkthrough I spoke of.
