strange computer problem

    Yes, This computer will be running fine,Then once in awhile it will like
    back fire or something. It will like pop/or make a noise from the hard drive.
    Not sure what the heck it is. Now when it does it, It is like turning off the computer off and on real fast.. Any Ideas ? I do allot of work on computers,But never ran into this problem..

    not able to understand ur problem properly, can u please elaborate more....
    Also check in your event viewer if there is any sign of disease??

    Nope nothing in event viewer. It is real strange,I never heard of this before,And I work on allot of computers. Anyway it is like the computer back fired from the switch to the hard drive. like a hickup....

    no, It is still working fine,, Just every now and then it will hickup..

    Any error signs in the Event Viewer??

    nope, no errors or nothing at all in event viewer..

    tested memory, but that wasn't the problem,, Anymore Ideas ?
    do you think it might be a power supply problem?

    Yep ! it was a power supply problem, I was able to change the power supply
    with a higher rated one and I let it run all day yesterday without no problems.
