Yes, it is possible to play Ultima Online for FREE. And I do mean free as in totally free, you don't need to buy anything, not even the game. Just go to this site, download the installer, install it on your system, register for an account and bingo! You're in Ultima Online: Obsidian and there are NO monthly fees. It's Ultima Online but you don't share it with other UO plays, only other Obsidian players and as such their rules are tighter, it being a smaller community so there are less problems.
