Video Card roundup!

Jim_ and Cory over at 2CPU have a very nice video card roundup featuring wares (not the illegal stuff!) of ATi, nVidia, and Matrox---GPU-wise anyway. As it is 2CPU, they break out a dual Xeon and dual Athlon MP setup to run the cards through their guantlet. They also get into multi-monitor displays and S-video out.

All these factors combined to motivate us to write the sort of article I'd like to read if I was in the market for a new video card (which I'm not, G550 for life yo!). We tried to round up as many video cards as possible. Not all of them are the newest and swankiest on the block (some are actually quite dated), but we wanted to at least include analysis of cards from all the major players in this industry. Furthermore, we will hit you with a smorgasbord of benchmarks on both a dual Athlon MP system and a dual Xeon workstation.

Okay, it may not have the newest or fastest cards in the roundup, but it's very intresting to see the cards differences on both the Xeon and Athlon MP platforms. Also, there are some cracks on Cory for you to laugh at. Get the whole thing here.
