Hi I have Vista Ultimate installed on my master drive, I would like to install XP on the same drive too and have the option of each operating system I would like to load after post.

Do i just install XP on the drive as normal and it will sort itself out? I've never done this before so not sure what to do.

    Thanks

As a general rule you should install the oldest OS first (at least with Windows) so I'm not sure what will happen with your situation.

With Windows when you install another Win OS it'll install itself in the same file system as the original but in a different directory. For example WINNT for 2K and WINDOWS for XP would both be installed in C:

The other OS will be identified during the installation

I have a triple boot system, Win 98 / XP / Vista , all in separate partitions.
This is the easiest way to do it, in OS order, But you can use Vista boot Pro.
it should work in your case....
