Ok, I have a lot of computer experience, but self taught so I have gaps where I'm less than a nubie.
I created a freenas data server with spare motherboard and parts. I am trying to connect the server to my Vizio 21" screen thru the dvi computer ports.
When I run the bios, the tv reads the signal just fine and shows me the bios screen. Once the server is up and running though, the tv shows a no-signal message. I connect the server to an old samsung (actual) computer screen I have and it works fine, but not with the tv.
I'm looking for both descriptions for how this should work and for fixes the problem.
