Volcano 7+

Now I just don't get it, the Volcano 7+ has a full copper heatsink and a decent 6000 rpm fan, how does it compare to the Volcano 2 or any other cooler (aside from thermal paste)? I always thought it was excellent for the price ($21.00).

I have the Volcano 7, and it's an excellent little cooler for the price. The V7+ is a midrange cooler.

Check Dans Data and Frosty Tech. DD has a HUGE cooler comparison that he updates from time to time and is considered one of the best available. Frosty Tech has a pretty good setup for testing heatsinks, and ranks the 'sink along with several others to get a feel for it.
