I have an i7 6th Gen 6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 in a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 ITX mother board. A situation has arisen where I need to decide which to go with, Keep the i7 and G1 Z170N or go with an i5 10th Gen Comet Lake 6-Core 2.9 GHz LGA 1200 in a Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2 Micro-ATX Motherboard. Would I see much of a difference going to the i5? The i7 says it is 4 GHz and the i5 is only 2.9 (saying it can go up to 4.3) i5 has more cores and 30watts less than the i7, I assume that would help with heat? Thanks!
