    Hello everyone.

Im going to get a new PC. Here are the specs:

    GIGABYTE 8800GTX 768MB DDR3 384-bit

    A-DATA DDR2 1GB DDR800 (16C-64Mx8) X2
    SAMSUNG 250GB 7200rpm 8MB cache SATA2

    CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX FAN ATX EPS12V
    COMPUCASE ATX MIDITOWER NO PSU
SAMSUNG TFT 21,6" 223BW BLACK GLOSSY

    GIGABYTE MA69G-S3H AMD 690G+SB600/ 2000 FSB/ PCI-E x16/ 2xPCI/ Dual 4xDDRII 800/667/533/ 8-ch audio/

    AMD ATHLON 64 X2 6000+ AM2 (125W) BOX

    Pioneer DVR-212 DVD-RW

I wanted to ask... if Corsair PSU 520 Watts is enough for this system, because i have some doubts here. 125W TDP 6000+ / 8800 GTX 185W TDP (2x 6 pin connector to gpu required for max performance). I know Corsair is quite good PSU. I won't do any overclocking... no more upgrades for few years.

    Thanks.

I assume Big B will answer this in more detail, but I'd like to point out things which, in my opinion, might be useful:

    *PSU calculator
    *PSU sticky

    Thanks for reply :)

I'll be waiting for his answer, hope he will be able to help me. I did some calculations (1st link). I got ~500W usage. But i doubt all these watts will be in use all the time.

Yes, that power supply will do the job. Unless you plan on SLI or Crossfire, that power supply is certainly capable of doing what you need.
