    Hi There.

I tried to re-format my entire computer earlier today to clear a lot of junk from the hard drive and to attempt to get some driver problems sorted. During the installation my computer blue screened twice. After wiping the hard-drive using a secondary program, my installation disk of Windows 7 is not being recognized. The disk works as I have used it on my laptop. I have set the BIOS up to attempt to boot from the CD first but it seems to completely ignore this command. No where in the entire boot up process does it ask me to boot from disk. The hard drive itself is not corrupt. I am completely stumped and any assistance would be appreciated.

Are you booting the DVD with a cd rom or a dvd combo drive ? What software did you use to wipe the hard drive ?

Got it working now mate. Had to use a bootable flash drive to re-install the OS as the software deleted the drivers for everything as well meaning my CD-Rom could not be read properly.
