I have an Xbox that I wish to take online. Due to the distance involved wired connection isn't pratical. I do have a wireless network and a laptop that is very near the xbox and i don't mind having the computer on to play online.

I have a spare LAN socket on the laptop but i have no idea how to route the xbox traffic through the laptop's wireless connection and onto the internet. I don't really want to spend £50 on a wireless bridge when there is a Wi-Fi enabled computer so close.

    Can anyone help

I think what you need to do is to create a "Network Bridge" between your LAN connection and your Wireless connection on your laptop.

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...dgnt.mspx#EBAA Will Show you how.

This should do what you want

    Hope this helps!
