I just ordered an HP Dv8000t featuring the Core Duo processor.

I was going to wait for the Core Duo 2, as it has 64bit extension, but since I am taking summer school i wanted one right now.
Cutting right to the point, I heard that Yonah and Merom both are going to have the same socket. If this is true, does it mean that I can upgrade my Core Duo Note Book to a Core Duo 2 Note book if circumstances force me to simply by switching the processor?
